Police: 1 dead, 1 in custody after shooting involving two teens in North Las Vegas

A boy shot and killed another boy in a North Las Vegas neighborhood Wednesday morning, according to police.

Officers responded around 6:30 a.m. to the 2600 block of Donna Street, near Carey Avenue and 5th Street, North Las Vegas Police said in an email.

The victim, identified as a male juvenile, was taken to UMC where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe another male juvenile shot him, and that suspect was taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing, and police have not released any other information.
